As the name suggests these bugs represent the immature stage of may flies, chironomid (midge), stone flies, and caddis flies. These bugs are the staple of any fish's diet. Some nymphs crawl on the bottom, some swim about, some cling to rocks and other sub-surface strata. Nymphs live out their lives in the water until that magical time when the water pressure and air pressure are just right and they make their rise to fame.
