We are pleased to announce that our affiliation with Strawberry Hill Nature Preserve is paying off in huge dividends.  There will be a fly-fishing clinic on 10 April 2010 at the Preserve.  The clinic will include casting instruction, entomology, and fly selection and end with a chance to ply your new skills in their pond.

We will be offering fly-tying demonstrations at Gander Mountain in Chambersburg on the 23rd of January, 20th of February, and the 20th of March from 1pm-4pm.

Plans are underway for a Fly-Fishing School in affiliation with Penn National Communities along PA 997.  The tentative opening is sometime in June 2010.  We will offer bike and kayak rental as well as guided hiking and birding tours.  We are also planning a full functioning fly shoppe.  Stay tuned sports fans, we are growing and the sky is the limit.

We will be working with the Boy Scouts at their Second Annual "Down to the Creek" event on the 3rd of April.  Please see the Boy Scout Web Site for more details.  This event will be held at Hidden Valley Scout Reservation and will offer Fly-Tying instruction and other requirements for the Fly Fishing Merit Badge.  The event offers all types of fishing that are legal in the State of Pennsylvania and may be attended by any registered Scout or Scouter.  Come on "Down to the Creek" for a wopping good time.
